I have an expired trial of Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010.?
Currently I have found the cheapest product key to possibly be able to upgrade my trial is for the Office Home and Student 2010. Can I use this versions product key? I would like to avoid having to download another trial if possible.
No you can't- each product key is separate from each other. You can't even use an Office 2003 key for Office 2007. If you're looking for cheap, download Openoffice. It's free and it's almost as powerful as MS Office. Plus, they're compatable.
How to activate Microsoft Office with a product key?
I download Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 (Beta version) couple months ago. Since it's about to expired in several days, I would like to activate my product key. I bought the product key of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. Does anyone can assist me how to do that?
Fyi, I also have Microsoft Office 2007 (trial version) in the system which came together when I bought the notebook. Should i uninstall the program? How can I keep all my files save? Those are mostly words and power point files.
Please only serious answer. Thank you very much for your assistance.
I'd have recommended getting a release disk of Office 2010 and uninstalling the Beta. It's not the actual release version, so it's not as reliable and may even not be covered by warranty. The product key MIGHT work with the Beta version. In Office 2007, you just tried to use it and it would present you with a registration window with boxes for the product key. If this isn't happening (and it might indeed have been turned off for Beta testing), you are going to have to get a disk. Contact Microsoft Customer Support and they may give you the disk for just the difference in price between the full CD and the key-only method. Hope that helps.
I have microsoft office home and business 2010 problems?
My uncle bought it and i entered the product key after a month it said that my trial has expired now i dont have the product to enter again as i cant get it from my uncle does any one have product keys for me to try
I used to invest many hundreds of pounds on Microsoft products like Office, and still have compatibility issues and file transfer issues. I now use Open Office by Oracle which is entirely free. It is compatible with MS Office and so there are few downsides certainly for small businesses.
