I am planning to get a Microsoft Office Home and Business this summer. I heard that it can only install 3 times. Is that true? If it's true, is there any way to install this software more than 3 times? Maybe burn a copy of the CD first?
The terms are normally that you can install onto 1 machine, or onto 3 machines, depending on the version. But you can re-install it on to any of those machines if you need to.

I believe you're getting the words "install" confused with the word "license." If you have 3 licenses it means you can have the software running on any 3 different computers at the same time. That's all it means. You can load the software a billion different times, as long as you never have it running on more than 3 computers at the same time.

I would definitely recommend Microsoft Home Office since it is cheaper. If it fulfills all your needs then it's good enough. But if you need specialized software then choose quicken home business.
