Can I use the same copy of microsoft office 2003 small business edition on two different PC's?
I got a laptop and my home computer has a copy of microsoft office 2003 small business edition on a CD. Can i use this CD and use office again or do i have to buy a separate copy for my laptop?

Depends how many user licenses you have paid for. MS likes to charge like a wounded bull for their business software which is how they make their cash. there are cheaper and MUCH better alternatives out there.

Is the Microsoft Office Home and Business only allow to function on every type of computer system?
My question seems a little confusing, but let me re-state it again. We all know they are PC(Microsoft) and Mac(Apple) in the world. There are also Win7, XP, Vista, etc. in the PC category. I am a high school freshman(just finish my whole freshman year yesterday) I always use TinyWord and Google Doc for my homework. Although these free software are similar to Microsoft, but they are still unprofessional and informal (especially when I print out my homework, it always looks different when I print out the same thing in Microsoft Word). My question is: Does the Microsoft Office Home and Business(the CD copy) works for every kinds of computer system? I have a vista PC. I use my cousin's win7 PC however. I am also plan to get a Mac when I go to the college. I have to write my college essay when I am a senior. So please help me out with that. I don't want to waste my money to buy all three versions of Microsoft Office Home and Business.

Microsoft Office Home and Student can be licensed on 3 computers in the same household. A comparison of the Office versions is here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/buy/office-2010-which-suite-is-right-for-you-FX101825640.aspx?CTT=3 The PC versions work on PC's and Mac versions work on Macs. They are not interchangeable as most if not all software is not interchangeable between PC's and Macs. Check out what the colleges require computer-wise before buying a computer for college.

Help..I have a vista on my PC but i need Microsoft Office and and Microsoft XP. Should i buy a new PC $500?
If i keep my pc, the Microsoft PC will cost me $200 and the Microsoft office will cost me $140 with tax and everything i am close to $400..This is for my business at home.. One more thing everything has to be License From my understanding there is a possibility that if i convert my vist to a XP, it wont run properly and to convert it is not all that nice....meaning easy

all of the MS licenses are legal to downgrade.. so if you have Vista, you have a license that allows you to have XP, ME, 98, 95, etc.. don't buy MS Office.. you can get Open Office for free and it's just as good.. so you should be able to solve all your problems without spending a dime.. :)

I just bought a laptop to run my home based business on, how do I move my files from my PC to the laptop?
They are both PC's, I run XP professional with Microsoft Office 2003 on my PC and the Laptop comes preinstalled with Microsoft Office Editions 2003 Trial. I want to put all of my information from my PC on the Laptop and get rid of the PC.

The easiest way to transfer the files from your PC to the Laptop is to get a removable flash disk of 2giga bytes. Slot it in the UBS port. It will assigned it as removable disk E: or G:. Copy all the files on the PC to the Flash Disk Drive. Remove it, slot it in the USB port on your laptop and move all the files to ur laptop by copying it from Disk G or E: to Drive C.
